HitchGrove — Delete your account

HitchGrove (Android app, developer: Galvanized Analytics LLC) lets you delete your account and its data at any time.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open HitchGrove and tap ☰ (top left).
2. Scroll to ACCOUNT and tap Delete my account…
3. Read what will be deleted and tap Delete permanently.

Deletion happens immediately. You're signed out, and the app keeps working without an account.

Without the app

Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your HitchGrove account, with the subject "Delete my HitchGrove account". We delete the account within 7 days and reply to confirm. We may ask you to verify account ownership. Never send your password.

What is deleted

Your account (email address and account id) and everything stored with it on our server: your vehicle & RV profile backup, overnight reports, notes on stops, note flags, community-rules acceptance, spot suggestions, reports about stops' information, and messages you sent while signed in.

What is kept

• Stops that were added to the map from your suggestions. They are public map data with no link to you.
• Anonymous problem reports (crash details with no account id), deleted automatically after 90 days.
• Messages you sent from Help & feedback while not signed in can't be linked to you; include the reply email you used if you want those deleted too.

Data stored only on your phone (saved stops, trips, profile, settings) is removed when you uninstall the app.

Google Play subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
